We have changed how BoardingMatch is paid for. The annual-fee plans that used to sit here — including the "no commission on placements" promise — no longer apply. We would rather show you nothing than a number we are about to change.
What is changing
BoardingMatch is moving from charging schools a yearly subscription to charging schools only when a student they admitted actually enrolls. That is a different business, not a discount.
Listing becomes free
Schools will be listed without a yearly fee. You will not pay to be on the platform.
We do the outreach
Families submit their child's details once. We approach the relevant schools on their behalf instead of each school searching.
You pay on a real enrollment
Payment is triggered by a confirmed place, not by a listing. Our commission is a percentage of the first year's net fee income, and we do not publish the percentage. Families pay a separate £200 application fee, and only once a school has invited their child to interview — that is set out in full in our terms.
A relationship, not a one-off
Because a school keeps a student for years, the model is built around the whole stay, not the first term.
Why there is no price table on this page
The new model rests on one assumption we have not yet tested: that schools will reply when a suitable family approaches them. We are testing that first, with a small number of real schools, before we commit to figures in public. Publishing a number we cannot keep would cost you more than the delay.
